I picked my song for Father Daughter Dance

Shelby died today

Shelby was a such a very good dog. Ashley and Brandon loved that dog so much and she was a part of their “soon to be” little family. She became sick many days ago and would not eat and after surgery and a long night of recovery, she did not recover. It seems that Shelby had eaten some items (yard, wire, cloth materials) that could not make it out of her system. She was such a hyper, yet happy dog. Fortunately, Ashley and Brandon were both off from work and with her when she died this morning…and, then they both buried her together. My heart really went out to Ashley and Brandon, they just layed around all day and mourned. Tough day for them…

Ashley received official word today that she passed her boards…she is now an RN.

Hey Mom and Dad,
I just wanted to send you an email just letting you know how much I appreciate all that you do for me. I know that sometimes I don’t deserve some of the things ya’ll do for me and that I take it for granted sometimes but it was really brought to my attention how much you both do for me and, although I’m on my own somewhat, I still depend on you both a lot. I am very fortunate to have both of you as parents and I couldn’t ask for anyone better.
Anyway, that’s all I really wanted to say…Thank you and I love you!
